Hair, The Haves and Have Nots
Some say, "Girl, you have lots of hair!" Ours is thin, now is that fair?
There's plenty for us and some to share.
Believe me pal, I have more to spare.
I am so lucky to have a great head of hair. My beautician says she loves to cut it. There are so many women with barely enough to cover their heads. I should be grateful to have such an abundance of it.
I am!

Broken Bones At the Bad Luck Ranch
LAST WEEK: Kade turned ten. His R2D2 cake is a winner, along with its owner. Although you can't see it, one week before his birthday, Kade broke his arm. Thanks to a little push from his brother unexpectedly off the tent trailer. Suffice it to say, the trampoline bounce party was scaled back to Chuck E Cheese with the gang, after the doctor said, "No way, Now how on the trampoline warehouse one.
His gifts do a good job of concealing the blue cast. How long will it take for him to change his mind about breaking both of his favorite brother's arms? You better watch out, Big Bro! Keeping it dry and free of foreign bodies is another story.
E N T E R:
JENNIFER WITH A BROKEN LEG THIS WEEK!!
Yes, you read it right. Jennifer broke her leg this week while driving her scooter to the shop for an oil change. It happened so quickly, as she turned to soon or overshot the entrance, she can still see it all in her mind. Road rash and a few crushed bones is the result.
But, Mom, who will fix our dinner, clean the house, do the laundry and so on? "I will", she says. Because mom's just keep doing the job the best they can, come rain or shine or broken bones. Now she has a scooter for her leg. It waits patiently beside her bed.
They are looking over the rainbow to better times next month, because the last three have been quite ugly.

Payson Temple Visit
We did it early. Ordered tickets to tour the Payson Temple, instead of waiting until the last week when the lines and traffic will be unbelievable. How beautiful the interior was. Leaded glass bowed windows not only adorn the exterior, but are used in many of the interior rooms. Intricately carved railings and molding make the structure, very unique. Sculpted carpet, ornate chandeliers and plush furniture are used generously in the Celestial Room. If you get a chance, it is still well worth the effort to take the hour drive south and tour this amazing building.

The Brashy Bride
She made a young and beautiful bride. With her brides maids making faces at the photographer and having fun. Now twenty years later, she hollers at umpires when they don't call strikes as she keeps their teams score, works full time, keeps her family happy and loves to go camping. She hasn't changed much and has changed a lot. Here's to your twenty year anniversary and many more.

Paradise Practically
I checked out the second season of The Paradise this week. It took three months of waiting for my number to come up. I had to watch all nine episodes in six days. It was practically like paradise, seeing all those beautiful dresses, perfect hairdos and lovely shop store items. The best part about the show is that it is clean. No sleeping with anyone, no swearing, no cheating, lying, killing, shooting, or stealing. Just lots of lovely stuff and a bit of brilliance on the part of women. I need to sign up for season three. I'll call you when it comes in. You can come over.

Fancy, Fit and Feeling Great
Jenn has been working out. Getting fit and loving it. Every day and sometimes more she slips on her bright work-out clothes, puts a movie in and begins her cardio glide. What started all this. It was a contest. $300 to the winner of weight loss, body fat and so forth.
Eating healthy came next. Fiber became a vital ingredient to get this gal on the road to looking and feeling good. She actually won $100 for the most points. Way to go Jenn. Keep up the great work!!

He's Not Heavy, He's My Brother
We love it when the little boys (cousins) get together. Now Brayle, our oldest, can hold them all at the same time. In a few years that won't be the case. It would be even better if three year old Joshua could be here, too.
Here is a rare moment when they are all smiling and life is wonderful. I felt like singing, "He's not heavy, he's my brother.'
